Manager of Infrastructure & Municipal Services

The Village of Fundy Albert is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Manager of Infrastructure & Municipal Services.

The Manager of Infrastructure & Municipal Services will provide planning, coordination and oversight for the Municipality’s infrastructure, facilities, utilities, capital projects and municipal service delivery.

Working closely with municipal staff, contractors, consultants and other partners, the Manager will help ensure municipal infrastructure and services are effectively planned, maintained and delivered to meet the needs of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for areas including:

• Planning and coordinating municipal infrastructure and capital projects;
• Overseeing municipal buildings, facilities, roads and other infrastructure assets;
• Coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure and related projects;
• Working with engineers, consultants, contractors and government agencies;
• Assisting with tendering, procurement, contracts and project administration;
• Supporting long-term infrastructure and asset management planning;
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets and funding requirements;
• Coordinating municipal service priorities with the Public Works Supervisor and other staff;
• Assisting with regulatory compliance, funding applications and reporting; and
• Providing technical and operational advice to the CAO and Council.

The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal operations, infrastructure, construction, engineering technology, project management or a related field. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
